We have taken time to provide the information below in other to get our clients prepared in advance and to shorten the claim process a much as possible.

On the event of a motor claim, please take the following steps:

  1. Be well composed, remain calm and consult your doctor in case you are injured in the accident, where applicable
  1. If another vehicle is involved, obtain the full names and particulars of:
    • The driver
    • The Insurers of the vehicle
    • The owner, if he is not the one driving
    • Any witness to the accident
    • Do not take laws into your hands, kindly report to the nearest police station
  1. Take pictures of the vehicles and report to your insurance broker. STANDOUT INSURANCE BROKERS.

 

REQUIRED CLAIM PROCESSING DOCUMENTS

When notifying us of the claim, kindly provide these supporting documents:

  •  Completed claim form.
  • Motor Insurance Certificate.
  • Photographs of the damaged vehicle.
  •  Repair estimate from your mechanic.
  •  Police report, where third party in involved.
  • Particulars of the negligent third party, where third party is involved;
  • Photographs of the damaged third-party vehicle (where third party is involved)

In the event of a motor theft claim, kindly provide us with the following documents:

  •  Completed claim form;
  • Motor Insurance Certificate;
  • Initial and Final Police report;
  • Spare keys (Ignition, doors and boot);
  • Original vehicle particulars;
  • Private investigator`s report, where necessary.

When notifying us of the claim, kindly provide these supporting documents:

  • Completed claim form;
  • Bill of Lading or Air Waybill;
  • Commercial Invoice;
  • Marine Insurance Certificate;
  • Copy of the Notice of claim lodged against your carrier;
  • Any documentation related to the out – turn or receipt of your goods

When notifying us of the claim, kindly provide these supporting documents:

  • Completed claim form;
  • Marine Hull Insurance Certificate;
  • Incident report on the Circumstances of the Loss;
  • Damaged report of the vessel;
  • Certified copy of the note of protest by the master.
  • Survey Report
  • Original Repair Bill
  • Weather Report by Meteorological Department.
  • Affidavits filed by rescue vessels.
  • Certificate of survey for inland vessels.
  • Registry Certificate.
  • Notarized statements of master.
  • Log Book extracts of both engine and deck.
  • Crew list along with competency certificate details.

When notifying us of the claim, kindly provide these supporting documents:

  • Completed Claim Form;
  • Burglary Insurance Certificate;
  • Written Statement of Claim detailing the property lost or damaged;
  • Police Report;
  • Photographs depicting the damages and point of entry;
  • Purchase invoices/ delivery orders/stock records to quantify the loss or damage;
  • Original repair bills (for damages to premises and/or property insured);
  • Any additional information and documentary evidence as may be required by

Insurers or Adjusters other than above.

When notifying us of the claim, kindly provide these supporting documents:

  • Completed Claim Form;
  • Fidelity Guarantee Insurance Schedule;
  • Written Statement of Claim on the defalcated amount;
  • Documents substantiating the defalcated amount;
  • Police Report;
  • Internal Inquiry Report on the defalcation;
  • Employment and termination letter(s) of the defalcator(s);
  • Last drawn salary slips and a statement of the balance amount due/amount of claim;
  • Any additional documents and information that may be required during investigations by Insurers or Adjusters.

When notifying us of the claim, kindly provide these supporting documents:

  • Completed claim form;
  • Incident report detailing the event of the loss/theft;
  • All purchase receipts of the damaged/stolen goods;
  • Photographs showing the damage;
  • Police report and affidavit at the event of a loss;

When notifying us of the claim, kindly provide these supporting documents:

  • Completed Claim Form;
  • Property Claim form duly completed;
  • Police and Fire Brigade Report;
  • Repair bills/quotation for property damage

When notifying us of the claim, kindly provide these supporting documents:

  • Completed Claim Form;
  • Fidelity Guarantee Insurance Schedule;
  • Written Statement of Claim on the defalcated amount;
  • Documents substantiating the defalcated amount;
  • Police Report;
  • Internal Inquiry Report on the defalcation;
  • Employment and termination letter(s) of the defalcator(s);
  • Last drawn salary slips and a statement of the balance amount due/amount of claim;
  • Any additional documents and information that may be required during investigations by Insurers or Adjusters.

When notifying us of the claim, kindly provide these supporting documents:

  • Completed claim form;
  • Copy of the original suppliers/sales invoice (in terms of which the load was sold reflecting the cost price of goods);
  • Driver’s statement describing circumstances leading up to and including the loss;
  • Delivery Note and/or Waybill;
  • Vehicle and Trailer(s) roadworthy and license certificates, and permits;
  • Driver’s current license including which qualifies him/her to drive said vehicle;
  •  Full priced claim identifying items lost/damaged;
  • Load confirmation and/or transport costs charged to deliver the load;
  • Third Party details (if any).
